Reported by Dair IGN in responding to the condition of his disappointing game, Leslie Benzies as CEO of Mindseye from Developer Build A Rocket Boy issued a quite controversial statement. He stated that all this chaos was caused by sabotage of the game.

Leslie also mentioned that his party found alleged sabotage business on their games made, both from internal and external parties. This statement also supports the same allegation as conveyed by Co-Ceo Build A Rocket Boy, namely Mark Gerhard.

As an effort to return this game to a positive path, on July 2 Leslie Benzies stated that his team will soon release this game and ensure that the game will be more optimal this time.

For the incident in the game, the Build A Rocket Boy has also conveyed an apology to the players.

Response from the publisher

Until this article was made, there has been no official statement from IO Interactive as a publisher to respond to the alleged sabotage delivered by the leader of the developer.

Previously, the publisher had denied the statement of the co-Coo who had believed that many reviews were paid to give a negative review of the game.

In addition to the quite controversial statement, the studio was also threatened with massive layoffs after the launch of Mindseye which took place poorly. Around 300 Build A Rocket Boy employees reportedly received emails that reported if they were being considered to be dismissed.
