Even though the sequel will be released in September, news has emerged that the next series in this franchise may be coming if Resonant achieved success after its release.

Quoting from an Insider Gaming interview, Elmeri Raitanen as Art Director Control Resonance discussing the future of the series Control in the future, which might be good news for loyal fans of the franchise.
