AAA John Wick Game Has Been Confirmed by Lionsgate to be in Production

Lionsgate’s John Wick AAA game – As long as the John Wick film franchise has existed, players have long been waiting for a AAA game adaptation that was really taken seriously. The concept sounds so promising, it’s a bit confusing why it hasn’t materialized yet, even though Lionsgate has been talking about plans for the game for years.

But now, after all this time it was just talk and news that a John Wick game project was being considered, it seems that Lionsgate is starting to prepare to show what they have been working on.

AAA John Wick Game Has Been Confirmed to be in Production According to New Lionsgate Report

Based on the latest Earning Call Q2 2026 report, Adam Fogelson as Head of the Lionsgate film industry company revealed a lot of interesting information. One of them is that several games will be based on their film franchises, including adaptations of the AAA games John Wick, Saw and several other names which will be announced in the near future.

If we could have guessed about the film game project itself, the presence of the Saw game was actually a surprise in itself. Fogelson said that these projects are now attracting more attention and opening up more opportunities for Lionsgate, while emphasizing that development is still on schedule.

Seeing as how these two games have not actually been officially announced, it is quite interesting that confirmation of their existence was actually given through an earnings call.

Gamers Must Be Patient

It is not yet clear whether Lionsgate has actually signed a deal with the AAA game studio or not. Even if it is already in the development stage, AAA game projects usually take at least four to five years to complete.

This means that it is very likely that new players will be able to play these games and Saw around 2030 or even longer. Nevertheless, these two film franchises have great potential to become successful game adaptations.
