Capcom Resident Evil Requiem Revenue – Of the number of games that Capcom released this year, Resident Evil Requiem became one of the most successful thanks to the extraordinary reception from critics. Apart from that, Pragmata also immediately stole attention by selling one million copies in just the first two days of its release.
However, Capcom did not include Pragmata’s sales performance as a factor in their revised financial projections, because the game was only released after the fiscal year ended. Specifically for Requiem, Capcom announced that the horror game had exceeded sales of five million copies.
Capcom’s revenue is estimated to increase thanks to the success of their games this year
Ahead of the financial report meeting for the fiscal year ending March 31 2026, Capcom revised their revenue projections to ¥195.3 billion, which is an increase from the previous target of ¥190 billion.
The revision reflects an increase of around 2.8 percent compared to the initial projection, and when compared to last year, the figure grew quite significantly as Capcom previously recorded revenue of ¥169 billion.
On the profitability side, Capcom’s operating profit is estimated at ¥75 billion, up from the previous estimate of ¥73 billion. Ordinary profit was also revised upwards to ¥74.1 billion from ¥70 billion. With this revision, each Capcom share is now projected to generate ¥130.29 million, an increase from the initial projection of ¥121.93 million.
The success of Resident Evil Requiem has a big impact on Capcom
In its official statement, Capcom also revealed that the great success of RE Requiem had helped boost sales of their old games. Capcom’s other business divisions are also reported to be running well.
