Patrick Söderlund tells how this game was actually designed as a Free-to-Play game. But according to him, the team at Embark “looked at games like Helldivers 2” and then they decided to switch to a paid gaming business model. But note, they don’t want to charge the game at full price like $70 and sell it for $40.
