Thank you to all of you who have supported the fantastic Cock & Bull Festival over the last eight years. The event has been the highlight of our calendar, with the charity and all of our supporters coming together to create something really special – full of the fun and spirit that is at the heart of Jamie’s Farm. We are not event management experts, but thanks to the hugely generous support of our friends, we were able to deliver a taste of the experience we give our kids on the farm to up to 1000 punters year on year – with quite a lot more cider! We have some wonderful memories: hay bale tossing with genius commentary on the megaphone in the Farmers’ Olympics; dancing dancing and more dancing, whether in Doug’s Den, around the bonfire at the Acoustic Tent or in the Stone Barn; passionate and persuasive debates led by experts in the Talks’ Tent; delicious homemade and home-reared food assembled by our teams of volunteers. The list could go on.

However, at this point, having launched two new residential farms in 2018 and 2019, we are not in a position to dedicate the time required to put on Cock & Bull in 2020. It would not be worth doing if we didn’t do it right. Over the next period, we are going to be thinking hard about how we may be able to bring Cock & Bull back with a bang in the future but have no event planned for 2020. In the meantime, for those of you who want to support the farm in other ways, please do check the Jamie’s Farm website for all opportunities available, sign up to the newsletter…and watch this space.
