It’s time to shine a light on some of the amazing workshops we have on offer at this year’s Cock & Bull festival. Beyond the music, cider and late night dance moves … there are all sorts of opportunities to slow down and try something new.

Healing Space
We have a full programme of free workshops for all levels in yoga, meditation, tai chi, dance and much more. Our expert practitioners are giving their time for free. You will be able to sign up for affordable massages and shiatsu to give yourself a treat. Full programme on the website shortly.

Anti Diet Riot Club
We are delighted to have the team from ADRC coming to C&B with their inspiring range of body positive workshops. They explore ways to change the way we relate to our bodies through creative and playful discussions, life drawing and body shakedown dance workshops.

“Our Place in The Universe”

An exploration into the worldview revealed by modern astrophysics, and it’s potential impact on human life and evolution. Juan Carlos will give a talk and lead a discussion during on his expertise as a astrophysics, computer science and psychology. It will also be the Perseids meteor shower this weekend, so bring your telescope!

Jewellery Workshop – Lost Wax Casting
If you ever wanted to learn how to make your own jewellery? Join Ania’s free workshop. By the end of the workshop you will know how to cut, carve and manipulate wax to realise your designs. Make a prototype that can be reproduced to make multiples in gold, silver or other metals.

Cherry Wood Project – Green Wood Work & Bushcraft skills
Cherry Wood is a 40 acre sustainably managed woodland just round the corner from Cock & Bull. They will be running a range of wonderful workshops for you to learn how to spoon carving, bushcraft and wood turning skills.

Water Colour Club
The Cock & Bull Water Colour Club is back! This is a chance to join others in the activity of painting watercolours; sit and relax and learn about this easily adaptable and pleasurable media while chatting with others. For all age’s – no experience needed – honestly!

Dance Club is a dance experience that is at the intersection between a club night, a dance class and a dance show. We believe passionately in the power of dance to engage the mind, body and soul – our mission is to “Inspire Through Dance”.
