That Mapboxapi R package by Dr. Kyle Walker debuts on #MusaMasterClass
By Ken Steif, PhD; Director, Master of Urban Spatial Analysis; University of Pennsylvania.
Mapboxapi allows developers to leverage navigation services including the Directions, Isochrone, Matrix, and Optimization APIs for routing analysis into R. The package supports multiple Mapbox APIs, including navigation services, to create analytical solutions that solve advanced, real-time transportation, and logistics problems.
Kyle Walker, Associate Professor of Geography and Director of the Center for Urban Studies at Texas Christian University, is a leading developer of #rspatial tools and a prolific creator of maps and data visualizations. Kyle’s latest Rstats package, Mapboxapi, enables the use of the Mapbox web service for spatial data science tasks in the R environment.
